Welcome to Our Toddler Room at Urmston Day Nursery
This stage is full of discovery! Our Toddler Room is designed to support curious little minds and growing bodies through sensory play, early language development, and social interaction. Urmston Day Nursery helps toddlers begin to build friendships, confidence, and independence.
The room offers a variety of dedicated activity areas including creative, messy, construction, role play, sand and water, and a quiet zone. Sand and water are always freely accessible, as we find these activities promote development across all areas of learning.
Tired toddlers who need time to rest after busy play have their own beds available, ensuring they can recharge comfortably in line with their individual needs and routine.
In our Toddler Room we continue to build on each child’s social and communication skills. We regularly find that children grow in confidence and begin communicating more naturally and openly with their peers.
