Welcome to Urmston Day Nursery, a new, family-owned nursery set up by Dr. Nafees Zakir and Dr Tahmeena Dean, based on the theory that happy, content, active children thrive. Learning in the outdoors will be an essential element of our nursery vision.

Located in Davyhulme, Urmston next to Trafford General Hospital, our beautiful expansive 19th century Victorian Mansion House offers a warm, inviting, safe and stimulating space designed to support every stage of early development. Our experienced and passionate team is here to guide, care for, and inspire children every step of the way.

Professional Child Care Services

We provide professional child care where children are seen, listened, and assisted. All of our care is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This suggests that children learn based on their innate curiosity and interests and conduct activities that help them grow in all areas.

Many of our staff members have had additional training in first aid, food safety, moving and handling, and working with children who need extra care. Our care and learning are tailored to each child’s stage of development, with gentle direction that makes attempting new things safe. Young children should leave our nursery happy, engaged, and ready for the next step.

Outdoor Childcare Nursery

Our nursery daycare includes outside play. children adore going outside to our safe, large outdoor space anytime they want. They can climb, run, and play there. children develop stronger, more coordinated, and more confident playing outside. It also inspires curiosity about the world.

We plan outdoor events for networking and collaboration. Playing helps children collaborate, discuss, and solve issues, improving their mental health. Daily outside time keeps children active, healthy, and engaged. It also helps children focus and resume indoor studies.
