Our staff teams are cautiously selected for their ability to provide warm and consistent care, and for their understanding of the developing physical, emotional and intellectual needs of the children. All employees are vetted to meet rigorous requirements set by Ofsted. Using a safer recruitment process, we obtain references from the most recent former employers before offering a position and Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks are obtained for each person that we employ. These checks are updated on a regular basis. Almost, all of our employees will have a qualification in children’s care, learning and development, and we actively encourage others to pursue formal qualifications. In addition, employees receive training all in safeguarding children, paediatric first aid, moving and handling, food hygiene and fire safety. All training needs are individually assessed and further training provided as required.
